A Small Victory for Internet Freedom

Want to know if your site falls foul of the Chinese Government?  Yes, you do!

Enter any url at www.greatfirewallofchina.org and see if it’s blocked.  This blog is.

(And thanks to Millard Fillmore’s Bathtub for the link)

What I love is (for today at least) the Anti-Google site www.dontusegoogle.co.uk is available in China, no block.

Tee hee!

It’s a small victory, but still!

I’m not sure that any of the links to Don’t Be Evil , Free Tibet, or BBC News articles all deploring Google’s record on internet freedom in China will work for Chinese users … but at least it’s something.
